2. Summary of Job Description
(A) (i) Assisting counsel with reviewing Agiloft design spreadsheets against OGC’s model document templates, including its regular and concessional loan agreements, grant agreements, project agreements and across multiple modalities including project investment lending, policy-based lending, results-based lending, project readiness financing and multi-tranche financing facilities.
(ii) Assisting counsel with user testing of the Agiloft software for all of the abovementioned agreements and across the modalities, helping to check OGC instructions have been translated into the software and that pricing matrices have been adequately captured.
(iii) Helping to track the implementation of the ‘backlog’ of issues with the first Agiloft release.
(iv) General updates of OGC’s own repository of model document templates
(v) Attending meetings with Model Documents Committee and some meetings with EY/Agiloft consultants
(vi) Any other tasks as required under the Agiloft automation project to meet the Release 3 deadline of September 2024.
(B) (i) Assisting the OGC Knowledge Management Action Committee (KMAC) with the review and curation of materials to update OGC’s annotation of the ADB Charter, including further research into issues arising from the materials received.
(ii) Providing assistance to formulate the SharePoint user interface and underlying information organization for the updated ADB Charter annotation online.
(iii) Working together with members of the KMAC, collecting and synthesizing further knowledge materials and progress other knowledge-related initiatives.
(iv) Attending meetings of the KMAC and providing other support for its activities.

Timing: June 2024 onwards

5. Expected Outcomes
The intern will develop a good understanding of sovereign lending operations, in particular the relatively unique form of legal agreements adopted by multilateral development banks ("MDBs"), specifically ADB, as well as its core constitutional document, the ADB Charter. In addition, the intern would be exposed to life in a legal department of a major MDB and will gain experience working as a trainee lawyer.
Qualifications
6. Education Requirements
Postgraduate course to ideally include some focus on law. Candidate must be currently enrolled.
7. Relevant Experience
Excellent attention to detail and some familiarity with legal agreements, in particular any experience in contract management and legal research would be beneficial.
