The practice of climate budgeting in Indonesia: A review.
2. Summary of Job Description
In 2016, the Government of Indonesia established climate budget tagging (CBT), an element of the national planning and budgeting system (KRISNA), to facilitate the execution of adaptation and mitigation efforts in response to climate change. The study will conduct a review of the implementation of climate budgeting in Indonesia, commencing with how it is being integrated into the nation's budget planning procedure, and will further analyze its prospects.
3. Period of Assignment
Duration: 11 weeks
Timing: June 2024
4. Location
Indonesia Resident Mission, Jakarta
5. Expected Outcomes
A comprehensive review paper that can potentially be turned into an ADB working paper and a policy brief.
Qualifications
6. Education Requirements
Currently enrolled in a postgraduate degree in economics; Ph.D. candidate is preferred, or at least in the final year of a Master's program.
7. Relevant Experience
Able to write a proper review paper with experience in data management and processing.
