Cambodia: Strengthening Capacity for Improved Implementation of Externally Funded Projects in Cambodia

The objective of the technical assistance (TA) was to strengthen the capacity of Cambodia for improved implementation of externally funded projects and improved effectiveness and results of development interventions. It aimed to support the government’s ongoing reforms in public financial management and governance in the public sector. It sought to address the issue of the limited capacity of executing agencies (EAs) and implementing agencies (IAs), and other systemic issues such as lengthy procedures in the approval of project documents.
