D. Enkh-Amgalan was affected by the Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program. She bought an apartment with her compensation money and also completed accountant's training under ADB's Livelihood Support technical assistance program.
T. Sarantuya was affected by the Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program and engaged actively in the complaint resolution. After receiving compensation, she bought land and resettled. She also acquired a new sewing machine with support from ADB's Livelihood Support Program, improving her sewing business.
Enkhtuya Ganbat was affected by the Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program and was actively involved in the complaint resolution process. She used her compensation to buy a 2-room apartment. Enkhtuya Ganbat also completed specialist occupational health and safety training, funded by ADB's technical assistance program. She no longer needs to burn coal or transport water from kiosks.
Ts. Enkhzaya and her brothers were affected by the Ulaanbaatar Urban Services and Ger Areas Development Investment Program. After receiving compensation, Ts. Enkhzaya bought an apartment and Ts. Enkhbayar bought a house and land. Ts. Baasansuren received a land grant, along with auto mechanic's tools and equipment after he participated in ADB's Livelihood Support Program. The tools and equipment helped him with his auto repair and maintenance service delivery.
This young woman undertook livelihood training in ADB’s vocational placement strategy program (VPSP) after being affected by the Greater Mekong Sub-Region Rehabilitation of the Railway in Cambodia Project.
She found it hard to find work because she had dropped out of primary school in grade 6. However, after participating in the VPSP, she found a job with a local company and started contributing to her family's expenses and loan repayments. She expressed gratitude to the VPSP for giving her the ability to find employment.
T. Chanteth undertook livelihood training in ADB’s income restoration project after being affected by the Greater Mekong Sub-Region Rehabilitation of the Railway in Cambodia Project. He found a stable job as a receptionist at a local hotel. Having regular income meant that T. Chanteth had the money for daily expenses and small debt repayments.
