Cambodia: CPTL Power Transmission Project

A private power company is working with the Government of Cambodia to bring cheap, affordable electricity to three provinces: Siem Reap; Banteay Meanchey; and Battambang. The partnership is boosting productivity and incomes, and making home life easier for rural people. More

Cambodia: Electricite du Cambodge (EDC)

Cambodia’s demand for electricity is increasing each year and the country is not only committed to sustaining their economic competitiveness and growth but is also eager to reduce its carbon dioxide emissions in the energy sector by 16% by 2030 as it transitions to cleaner energy sources. In 2019, ADB's Office of Markets Development and Public-Private Partnership (OMDP) aided Electricite du Cambodge (EDC) in setting up a 100MW National Solar Park project to resolve fossil fuel price hikes and dry season low electricity production.
