This environmental and social management framework (ESMF) of the E-Mobility Program ensures that environmental and social risks and potential impacts from all activities under the program will be minimized and mitigated to acceptable levels.
The framework sets out the principles, requirements, procedures, and guidelines for conducting due diligence and review of environmental and social issues for potential projects under the program. All projects under the program will be subject to ADB’s safeguards policies and requirements as outlined in ADB’s Safeguard Policy Statement and align with Green Climate Fund’s Environmental and Social Safeguards standards.
