Guidelines for Conversion of Loan Terms for ADB LIBOR-Based Loans

Business Guide | February 2008

These guidelines set out the procedures for requesting, accepting, and effecting conversions as specified in loan agreements for LIBOR-based loans between ADB and a borrower.

The purpose of the Guidelines for Conversion of Loan Terms for ADB LIBOR-Based Loans (LBLs) (the Conversion Guidelines) is to set out the procedures for requesting, accepting, and effecting conversions as specified in Loan Agreements for LBLs (each a Loan Agreement) between ADB and a Borrower. The Conversion Guidelines are referred to in the Loan Agreement and in the Loan Regulations Applicable to LIBOR-based Loans Made from ADB's Ordinary Capital Resources dated 1 July 2001 as modified from time to time (the Loan Regulations). Wherever necessary, the relevant loan conversion provisions in the Loan Agreement and Loan Regulations are indicated in these Conversion Guidelines.
