In 2019, the Asian Development Bank approved a project providing Milko Limited Liability Company with a loan facility to support the expansion of the company’s dairy processing, and raw milk and fruit procurement capacities in Ulaanbaatar.

This working paper presents the results of the baseline evaluation survey conducted to document current conditions of project beneficiaries—primarily dairy farmers—before the project was implemented. This paper provides and analyzes the baseline data of the beneficiaries, which will be used as inputs for the impact evaluation study that will be carried out at project completion.
