The private sector's role in driving sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient economic growth is expanded.

Project Outcome
Description of Outcome

DMCs will have greater capacity to promote sustainable, market-based development through (i) better understanding of barriers to PSD, (ii) stronger engagement with stakeholders for a more supportive enabling environment for PSD, including in relation to expanding the role of the private sector in climate change mitigation and adaptation, and (iii) better coordinated and more coherent execution of ADB-supported upstream, midstream, and downstream PSD activities, in close alignment with the climate change shift.
