ADB remains deeply concerned about recent developments in Myanmar and will continue to consult with shareholders and stakeholders on any operations in the country.

Myanmar became an ADB member in 1973. ADB reengaged with the country in early 2012. Since the reengagement, ADB has supported the country's national development strategies and priority programs, as well as with finance and knowledge to strengthen the economic foundations to ensure sustainable growth and poverty reduction.

Updated yearly, this ADB Fact Sheet provides concise information on ADB's operations in the country and contact information.
