The Office of the Ombudsperson (OOMP) provides conflict resolution services to all members of the ADB community to discuss and resolve work-related concerns and issues. This annual report provides data and case studies on issues and concerns raised in 2019.
In 2019, the OOMP reviewed its database and case management methodology and made changes to how it gathers, interprets, and evaluates data and other findings to reflect the scope of the office’s activities more accurately. Beginning with this report, the analysis of trends and emerging patterns of concerns presents the number of cases instead of the number of visits the office received.
