Edward is an expert on peace and development in fragile and conflict-affected situations (FCAS). He joined ADB in 2023 after a career with the United Nations and NGOs focused on political affairs, peacekeeping, development, and human rights. With more than two decades of experience in Bangladesh, Haiti, Indonesia, Kosovo, Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Timor-Leste, Edward has also consulted for the World Bank Justice for the Poor programme and served at UN headquarters working on change management in peace operations. He has degrees from McGill University and King’s College (University of London).
