ADB, Kiribati Sign $5 Million Grant to Accelerate Gender, Other Reforms
ADB and the Government of Kiribati today signed a $5 million grant agreement to help the Pacific island nation expedite reforms to aid its recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
SPSO's Role
Located in Suva, Fiji, SPSO serves as the focal point of ADB for programming, processing, and administering assistance in the Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Niue, Samoa, Tonga, and Tuvalu.
Being closer to its South Pacific clients, SPSO and ADB’s Coordination Offices are able to liaise directly with stakeholders to ensure ADB’s strategies, programs, and projects remain relevant, responsive, and results-focused.
